As a not-for-profit organization, NB Physical Literacy strives to lead, educate, and advocate for physical literacy in NB. Coach NB plays a key role in leading the way through coaching excellence. We are the Provincial/Territorial Delivery Partner (PTCR) of the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) where we are responsible for delivering but are not limited to Multi-Sport NCCP products. In addition, we celebrate and promote the significant role that Coaches play within the NB sport system by offering various Professional Development (PD) workshops, funding opportunities, apprenticeship/mentoring experiences, and more! National Coaching Certification Program
Launched in 1974, the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) is the Coaching Association of Canada`s flagship program, and has been identified as a world leader in coach education. It is currently the largest adult continuing education program in Canada. The NCCP gives coaches the confidence to succeed and is designed & delivered in partnership with the government of Canada, provincial/territorial governments, and national, provincial, and territorial sport organizations. Sport For Life
Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) is a movement that promotes quality sport and physical activity. It is led by Sport for Life Society, a federal not for profit society that incorporated in September 2014, and comprises experts from sport, health, recreation and academia who are employed as independent contractors, yet work cooperatively to promote the movement’s goals.
